Keeping up with the 411
Big THANKS to Nicole for arranging another successful 411 Networking Event at the Hotel Los Gatos. It was the perfect evening to hang out on the balcony overlooking Main Street with a tasty beverage in one hand and surrounded by friends! We had an amazing time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces. Who knew there would be so many new faces?! Oh and good thing we remembered to wear green though there wasn't nearly enough pinching going on :). Hope to see everyone next month at Byington Winery!

NACE Event
Champagne Lilies attended our first NACE event Tuesday night at the Sainte Claire Hotel in downtown San Jose! Not only was the night filled with awesome networking and food, courtesy of Il Fornaio, we went home more informed than when we arrived!
Andy Ebon, gave a great talk about sharpening one's marketing edge and the importance of leveraging social media to target the right audience and obtain new connections. Actively engaging in the world of social media is also a great way to express ourselves to our brides and keep in touch with fellow vendors! Needless to say, we've been sold :). Photography Fun!
We have met so many great photographers in the Bay Area. Not only is their work amazing but they're just fun to be around. Each of them have a fresh perspective on life and love capturing all the moments worth treasuring. Amazing and fun...definitely a great combo for that special day! We can't wait to meet more amazing photographers!

Always keeping an eye out
Working in the wedding industry requires a lot of attention to detail, relationship building, and continuously looking for new trends and styles. I was at the Red Rock Cafe in Mountain View, CA the other night getting my late night swirl and out of the corner of my eye saw some cute colorful boxes and two women conversing over them. Immediately attracted to the colors, I knew I had to talk to them about it! Was it wedding favors? Was it a weekend project? What was it?
Turns out it was a budding business offering wedding favors! I was so excited. The new business owner is planning on launching in June and is called Little Blue Ribbon! @LittleBlueRibbon, we can't wait to see more of your products!
